Over ten years ago, my mother blessed me, my sister and daughter to a three and half week adventure to our grandmother's native land, Portugal. My mother felt a great need to go back to the home land of her family before she passes and wanted us to join her. Unfortunately, in my mother's family, Portugal was rarely talked about. What an incredible gift she gave us!

Interestingly, I realized when I returned, not many people talked about this wonderful, undiscovered land. I was lured for months to Fatima before my mother announced this incredible gift she wanted to bestow us!  It was on my list of places I knew I had to visit for some reason!  At the Fatima shrine, I was sitting on one of the endless steps, witnessing the entire contents.  I turned my eyes to the right and noticed an amazing alcove of candles lit by Fatimas visitors. The energy of light from that sacred space was memorizing!  One could feel each candles power. It was as if all the candles had a deep and healing intention of love pouring forth from each flame. I called over to my sister, who was an ear shot away---"June, we must go over there. This is absolutely amazing!"  As we approached the alcove, we both were totally mesmerized by the energy! I mentioned to my sister I needed to bring some of the candles back to the States.My sister and I ended up bringing back a handful of candles. I didn't know "all of the why's" at the time but it felt I was pushed to do this. There have been times in my life in which I feel pushed to do something and it ends up leading me to something else.

For a lot of years,  I gave away many to those I felt needed something tangible to help them through their issue.  It was probably 5 years later, I was in meditation and I was told to share these with the world. I thought I was making this up and for months I continued to ask, ----"If this is what I'm supposed to do, please give me billboard clarity!"  I had difficulties with this message because it just seemed a bit wild to me. I began recieving hints and nudges constantly. The healing gifts I created before this guidance made more human sense. I began sharing this insight with close family and friends to get their take and they all said...go with the guidance....I also began having dreams and I was told to do research on candles, which are very ancient symbols and after the research, it would be crystal clear!  And so it was.....I also began understanding, our humanness is very different than the guidance we receive from above!

As time went on I began to go to a Church in San Francisco because of the Shrine of St. Jude. I've had a connection to St. Jude for many years after I had some incredible experiences. I noticed each time I visited, there were people in deep pain over some challenging life event. I would bring a few candles and give them away to whomever I felt needed it. It was if I gave them miracle as I viewed their strained faces before and noticed a transformation--a softness of gratitude. This alone was worth all the effort that has gone into this project.

It's been over a decade now and I felt it was time to develop a sacred site, a prayer and meditation area to help people in one way or another. A link to affirmations. Affirmations are a wonderful source, like a mantra. If one says it over and over, somehow a shift begins to help them focus on the positive.

For now, the blessed Fatima candle and Saint Mother Teresa's photo ( I believe she should be called a Saint. It's time!) will be sold. We'll incorporate other blessed items. I'll also have an area for blessed candle stories.

Last, I would like to share my main goal here is to raise funding to be able to open a new kind of children's home on a global level. I'll be focusing on developing a non profit within a year. I now have a name which is an exciting first step! I'm also open to partner with others to accomplish this amazing goal!
